Kiambu nominated MCA Ezra Kihara killed in road crash

Kihara tragically lost his life early Sunday morning in a road accident near Mang’u High School along Thika Road, after his vehicle collided with a lorry and caught fire.

Kihara tragically lost his life early Sunday morning in a road accident near Mang’u High School along Thika Road, after his vehicle collided with a lorry and caught fire.
Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi confirmed the tragic incident, expressing deep sorrow at the loss of the young leader.
“It was with a deep sense of loss that I received the sad news of the death of nominated Member of County Assembly Hon. Ezra Kabuga Kihara,” he said.
Wamatangi described Kihara as a “vibrant and promising young leader” whose passion for service was evident in his work for the people of Kiambu.
“His contributions to the County Assembly will be remembered as a testament to his dedication. He was a kind and friendly person, always driven to improve the lives of those around him,” the governor said.
Eulogised
In his heartfelt message, Wamatangi acknowledged the pain of losing such a dedicated legislator, saying, “It is heartbreaking to lose such a young, dedicated legislator with so much promise for the future. During this difficult time, I stand with the family in grief and prayer. May God grant you strength and comfort as you navigate through this immense loss. We share in your sorrow and honour his memory, which will live on in the legacy he leaves behind.”
The governor extended his condolences to Kabugi’s family and urged them to accept the County Government's and the people of Kiambu's sympathies.
“On behalf of my family, the County Government of Kiambu, and the great people of Kiambu, I urge Hon. Kihara's family and the County Assembly to accept our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences. May his soul rest in eternal peace," he said.
His sudden death leaves a significant void in the County Assembly, where his leadership and dedication earned him recognition as a future leader with immense potential.
